The best advisors will help you figure out the next steps that work for you and help guide you around obstacles that sit squarely in your blind spot.
People who tell you what you need to hear rather than what you want to hear can be excellent mentors. They will give you True opinion You need to fill in your blind spots that will keep you moving forward.
Mentors are important to advance your career. They can expose you to new experiences and perspectives.
